Transylvania Baptist Association helps people reach beyond the four walls of their church, to join hands with members of other churches, and to share the love of Christ with results that one church could not achieve alone. We are a body of 36 congregations committed to care and worshipping and serving Jesus Christ. Affiliated with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and the Southern Baptist Convention, we join with likeminded Christians in spreading the gospel around the world.
Our slogan, “Committed to Care”, is more than just a catchy phrase. We hope that it gives you insight into just who we are.
Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds and at Transylvania Baptist Association we desire to do the same. That’s why you’ll discover here and in the associational churches ministries geared to various life stages and needs.
OUR PURPOSE is to assist the churches to be in fellowship and on mission both individually and together, through: Proclamation, Evangelism, Nurture, and Care.
